The idea for Wedding and Event Pro grew from my experience of working as the Course and Communications Manager, of the Australian Academy of Wedding and Event Planning, a role I still hold.  Through my experience of speaking with students I realised that there was a need in the market place for a business consultancy dedicated to helping students take the next steps in their careers and towards their business and career goals.  With years of small, home based business experience behind me and skills in Marketing, Copywriting, PR and Branding, I decided to launch WEP to help others achieve what I had within this industry.

However, no matter how good we are at WEP with helping you to launch your career or business, your success will also come down to how you operate as a professional.  Every successful career or business begins with knowledge and skills.  We can gain some of this through experience and with the guidance of professionals, but ‘to do the job’, you also need a bank of knowledge of your own, that is specific to the job you want to do.
